One Church - One Day Prayer Initiative
We are excited to be part of One Church – One Day, a citywide initiative uniting churches in continuous prayer for our community. Each participating church takes one day a month to cover Ottawa in prayer, and we have committed to praying on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Through this initiative, our prayers are joined with those of other believers, filling the heavenly bowls (Revelation 5:8) and aligning with God’s plan for our city. Join us in lifting up our city in prayer! To help with your prayers, a monthly guide is available at the back of the sanctuary.

In Loving memory
of

We regret to announce that Marg Shurtliffe moved on from this life to be with Jesus in the evening of Wednesday, February 5. We are thankful for all the years of ministry that she provided through our church and for all the lives that she touched. She was a wonderful, helpful person with a strong faith, who will be greatly missed by our congregation. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5 at Trinity Church with Pastor Frank Chouinard presiding.

Community Movie Night and Dinner
Another Community Movie Night and dinner will be held on
Saturday, Sept 6th.
Our last  family movie night  was a huge success with over 50 people attending.

On September 8th, a Community Garden Potluck was held.
Community garden members  joined us to celebrate another successful gardening season and harvest.

Prayer Meeting
On the second Sunday of every month, all are invited to join us in the Sanctuary  at 10:45am for per-service prayer. This month's prayer focus will be on praying for the needs and growth of Trinity Church. This will be a time of individual prayer, but anyone who feels led by the Holy Spirit to pray aloud is welcome to do so.

Memorial Funding
Trinity Church was blessed to have Marilyn Brown as a part of our congregation until her passing last year. Even in her final years when she was not able to physically come to church, she still remained a faithful, committed member. We are especially grateful to her as she remembered Trinity Church in her will, and the funding received from her estate will be used to complete some necessary upgrades. The exterior of the church building that faces Brayden Street and the main hallway leading to the sanctuary will be painted. The three large windows in the main hallway will be replaced, and the garden facing Avalon Place will be re-landscaped. Lastly, we will be planting a tree on the property in her memory with a plaque thanking her for all she has done for Trinity Church.

Hedge Removal
After many years of debate, the hedges surrounding the church yard were removed in July. This will open up the view of our building to the community and overtime, we will save on maintenance costs. Special thanks to Anna and Pierre for looking after this project.
